HAIL RETURN #4

The Re-opening Series

In the midst of the pandemic when live venues were pretty much silent, Live Fact survived by pivot after pivot — crowdfunding, live streaming, applying grants, selling merch, and relying on the goodwill it had built from local bands and followers, helping it stay afloat. Now it’s time for the show to go on again! Live gigs will be opened to fully vaccinated Malaysians nationwide after having been shuttered for more than one year.

Simply put, we are a 4-piece, All-Girl, Alternative Rock Band. We’re based inSelangor and have been able to play lots of local venues and events. We playalmost anything under the Rock genre umbrella – with a soft spot for 80’s, 2000’sand Indie, Rock. We also love playing warped renditions of pop songs, and someof our very own original music. We can’t exactly pinpoint our sound, but we areheavily influenced by the likes of Paramore, Panic! At The Disco, Muse, Queen, TheRegrettes, The Runaways, and Led Zepplin.

FAZZ

FAZZ currently consists of members Yon Lynn (vocal), RFB (bass), Heewon (keyboard/piano), Aabid (saxophone/clarinet) and Ayam (drums). Despite being frequently identified as a jazz band, FAZZ focuses on the delivery of swing with other influences, such as electronic, pop, and rock. Showmanship and storytelling has also been FAZZ’s signature on stage, for the band is heavily influenced by a theatrical narrative. FAZZ also had touring experiences locally and abroad, covering cities such as Seoul, Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo, Singapore, and more.
