In under 5 years, Malaysian Singer-Songwriter Endee Ahmad has rapidly secured a local and international following – having played at every open mic series on his home circuit in the Klang Valley, local music festivals, and tours abroad.
Endee’s music delivers a melodic fusion of Folk, Rock and Blues – with content emphasising positive messages – such as bringing public attention to the plight of the homeless, and addressing social issues such as racism. In addition to performing as a solo artiste, he often collaborates with other musicians to deliver unique performances, music and initiatives.
A graduate in performance arts, he actively contributes towards the industry’s growth through his series ‘Feel Tu Penting’ – an open mic showcase organised in collaboration with fellow singer-songwriter Otam which helps to give exposure to up and coming talent.
While best known for his intimate performances at popular urban venues such as Merdekarya and KLPac, Endee is no stranger to big stages and festivals. To date – he has been featured at Rock the World 2014/2016, Fete de la Musique 2016, and Urbanscapes 2016, Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival, and many more.
Quite literally looking at the sky as the limit to where he can take his music, Endee has performed live on an Air Asia flight – 30,000ft above the ground. Venturing beyond Malaysia to share his unique brand of music, Endee has recently toured Japan and Indonesia.
Expanding his fanbase, Endee fell in love with Theatre play and composing ambients at the same time playing music at background. Endee pour his heart out acting in KLPAC’s Omar Ali’s -KANDANG and DATO SERI 2018, LOSERTOWN, SHAKESPEARES SONNETS, YESTERDAY ONCE MORE, INTIM SESSIONS, all produced by JOE HASHAM and DATO DR FARIDAH MERICAN. and also OGY AHMAD DAUD -Street theatre Performance at The Curve 2018.
As of 2017 and 2018, Endee continues to expand his horizons and keeps in touch with his fanbase through regular music and theatre shows and content on social media. To date, Endee Ahmad’s portfolio includes albums such as Live at The Actor Studio (KLPac) and Terus Terang with Otam. Endee Ahmad just started a side project called SINGGAHSANA (2018) with his fellow Sarawakians All Star Playaz.
