Live Fact Presents

In the midst of the pandemic when live venues were pretty much silent, Live Fact survived by pivot after pivot — crowdfunding, live streaming, applying grants, selling merch, and relying on the goodwill it had built from local bands and followers, helping it stay afloat. Now it’s time for the show to go on again! Live gigs will be opened to fully vaccinated Malaysians nationwide after having been shuttered for more than one year.

We Are Becoming Ghosts

We Are Becoming Ghosts is an instrumental band founded in 2018, and based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The band consists of four members; Loki (Drum), Zek (Bass), Seth (Guitar) and No (Guitar). Our first single is called ‘Dzat’ released on 26 Jun 2021.

The Metaphor

The Metaphor is a post-rock band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They currently have 3 releases to their account:

– Preface EP (2011)
– The Metaphor (2014)
– A, b, c, d, e & f (2021)

Formed on year 2010, the band consists of:

– Tomas Tam on guitar
– Tan Sze Yee on guitar
– Nicholas Kwek on bass
– Lee Hwee Ling on keyboard
– Eugene Gerard on drums

The band have toured China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. They have also captured radio stations’ attention and being featured on Traxx FM, BFM and KOOP (US). Magazines like MINT, TIS, TimeOutKL, and FHM have also written album reviews and articles about the band.

Marsa

Marsa (/ˈmar||sa/) are a KL based, post -rock band, formed in 2018. The band consists of Nashution (guitar), Nami (guitar, piano, synthesizer), Syamier (guitar, piano, synthesizer), Adib (piano,synthesizer) Nabil (bass guitar), and Zulhilmi(drums). The band melody can be perceived as instrumental, guitar-piano based pieces that is heavy, dynamically strange with Warm bass and melodic drum and the unexpected use of pedals and sound effects.

Marsa has played several notable shows in Malaysia. From performing in an art gallery to well known punk house, their music has managed to caught the attention of music lovers from ALL genres! In 2019, they have released their self/titled debut E.P. consisting of two tracks along with a video clip. It has received a positive respond from the audience. The band successfully released their debut Album on February 2022.

LOCH

LOCH is an instrumental rock band from Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. Since forming in 2011, the band’s music has evolved tremendously, while still staying to their identity and style, with strong influences from Western progressive rock bands like Tera Melos, The Fall of Troy and ASIWYFA. Last year, their debut album titled ‘Everywhere We Go, We’ll Make This Feel Like Home’ was released. LOCH has since toured around Peninsula Malaysia, and even in neighbouring countries like Singapore and Thailand.
